Poor Wi-Fi One Of UK’s ‘Biggest Stresses’
In the workplace and for those who work from home, having the most reliable phone and internet for services like VOIP phone service providers is essential.
Likewise, for people moving to a new property, having a poor internet connection is one of the most stressful things you can experience. According to new research from Money Supermarket, reported by Mortgage Introducer, 51 per cent of those who own a home in the UK feel this way.
In comparison, 37 per cent of homeowners find having poor phone service the most stressful problem. Compare this to problems like difficult childcare at 6 per cent, and you can see just how widespread this issue really is.
Consumer affairs expert for Money Supermarket Kevin Pratt emphasised how important these issues can be for someone moving home: “What motivates us when moving house has changed a lot from previous generations,” he said.
In the past, home buyers were the most concerned with having great childcare locally available or having a kitchen and bathroom in good condition, but now people buying property will research into how fast the speed of the connection in the local area is as a priority.
For homeowners, going a long time without an internet connection or phone line is one thing, but for businesses it’s another situation all together. Researching areas with high speed connections for businesses is very important, and the potential for access to high speed broadband shouldn’t be overlooked for a cheaper premises, especially when using VOIP services.
